Volunteer Opportunities

The Charity welcomes enquiries from anyone who is interested in volunteering with us.  Becoming a volunteer can provide you with experience for your future career, or you may be looking to become more involved in your local community.  To update your knowledge and development, the Charity offers volunteers the opportunity to attend training events.  All volunteers are subject to an enhanced DBS check (this will be arranged by the charity at no cost to you).

Due to the nature of our work, volunteers will be asked to respect the confidentiality of families at all times, even when no longer volunteering with the Centre. Volunteers will be expected to abide by the Confidentiality Agreement which forms part of the induction procedure.

If you are interested in volunteering for us please fill in the application form below stating your availability and what skills you can offer and we will contact you if we have anything suitable.

Please email your completed application form to hr@familiesfirstbedfordshire.org.uk.

For further information or help with filling in the application form please call the HR Administrator on 01234 341977 X2014 or email
hr@familiesfirstbedfordshire.org.uk

If you are posting your application please ensure you have the correct postage. An application form will probably require a stamp for a large letter.  Incorrect postage will delay your application and may miss a deadline date.

These posts have unsupervised access to children and are therefore exempt to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. This means you are required to disclose any convictions, cautions or bindovers you may have spent.

All posts are subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks. FfB operates within Safer Recruiting Guidelines.
